• Determination of persistent and/or toxic organic pollutants (aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated substances, pesticides, residues of drugs and personal hygiene products…) in environmental samples (drinking water, surface, river and waste water, sediments, soil, biological materials…)

• Cycling of persistent organic pollutants in the environment (bioaccumulation, transformations…)

• Research on elimination (biological degradation) of drug residues from waste water in waste treatment plants

• Photodegradation of pharmaceuticals

• Research on toxic drug and cosmetic residues in environmental samples (waste waters, surface waters…)

• Study of evaporation/sublimation and atomisation of materials using Knudsen Cell Mass Spectrometry (KCMS)

• Qualitative and quantitative analysis of gaseous samples using mass spectrometry
